Business Development Manager

Oxford Finance is part of the Turners Automotive Group.  We provide flexible financial solutions for individuals and small to medium business customers that are easy to understand and simple to put in place.

We are currently on the hunt for a seasoned, self-driven and commercially savvy individual to take on the role of Business Development Manager for Christchurch.

Who would suit this role?

This role would suit a driven and commercially minded individual with a passion for building strong business relationships and delivering sales results. Ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys mentoring others, and is confident partnering with senior leaders to influence performance and growth strategies.

What does the role entail?

• Drive lending sales through finance brokers and motor vehicle dealers
• Maintain and grow existing broker and dealer portfolio
• Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and dealers
• Manage client records and account performance, including clawbacks
• Ensure changes to rates, terms and fees are communicated effectively
• Deliver product, sales, and compliance training to enhance performance
• Meet regular reporting deadlines and support project
• Uphold compliance standards and company policies

What do we need from you?

• Experience working within the Automotive industry or a competitive consumer landscape;
• Extensive experience working in a Business Development & Training role;
• Proven ability to drive Personal and Team sales performance;
• Understanding of how Motor Vehicle Dealerships operate and the key drivers, skills and systems required to successfully compete in this market;
• Previous experience in the Finance or Insurance industry is highly desirable.
