Commercial Recoveries Officer
Oxford Finance is part of the Turners Automotive Group. We provide flexible financial solutions for individuals and small to medium business customers that are easy to understand and simple to put in place.
We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Recoveries Officer to join our Auckland team.
The primary purpose of this role is the management and collection of Commercial loan accounts reducing the risk of loss.This will be achieved by the monitoring of Commercial accounts and contacting the clients where there are arrears and arranging payment.
Key duties will include:
- Inbound/Outbound credit related calls to/from customers regarding payment
- General ledger control
- Completing repossessions
- Data entry to ensure our systems are updated
- Completing reporting as required
This opportunity will suit a goal orientated and high performing professional who takes ownership of their portfolios and thrives in a fast paced environment while working to targets and KPI’s. It goes without saying that you will possess outstanding communication skills and understand the importance of obtaining a positive outcome for our clients.
Whilst training will be provided, the qualities we are seeking are:
- Previous experience in a credit control/collections based role;
- The ability to obtain a positive solution through negotiation;
- Strong interpersonal skills with an unflappable, resilient nature;
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills;
- High level of computer literacy and reporting ability;
- A team player, driven to be successful and achieve targets.
